IABC opened its doors in 2016 at our historic Garnerville NY site. We modernized a pre-Civil War complex to include a 25 HL brew house, 30,000 square feet of cellar and warehouse space and a sunlight filled taproom that is open to the public. To keep pace with our rapid growth we secured a new location in Beacon, NY at the end of 2018. Our new home is a 70,000 square ft purpose-built, state-of-the art facility with a 100 HL custom Brewhouse and a modern, flexible and efficient packaging line and pasteurizer. We started small, with 5 staff members when we opened in August 2016, we've expanded to over 30.

One of the owners, Jeff O'Neil, started brewing in college. He is best known for Ithaca Brewing Company's Flower Power which arguably brought the west coast style IPA to the east coast. After Ithaca brewing, he moved on to Peekskill Brewing, and then ultimately starting Industrial Arts in 2016. The Brewmaster Mike McManus worked at Ommegang for 10 years before joining us. He and Jeff have had a relationship for years.

Industrail Arts Brewing Company wants to make clean, expressive beers available at an affordable price. They believe no one should be intimidated by craft beer, and they want to make it easy for people to get into be it by taste, allocation, or price point.
