Big Black Bark

Stony Point's first flagship beer, the Big Black Bark, is a black IPA. This style of beer is very unique and hard to come by. You can thin of it as the hoppiness of an IPA with the roastiness of a stout. SPBC's Black IPA is well balanced and hop forward with a good amount of roasted malt body. It is made with Centennial, Chinook, Magnum, and Citra hops.

This beer is paired with a spicy mustard in order to cut through the boldness of the beer. They complement each other surprisingly well!

Musically, this pairing is accompanied with ambient electric guitar tape loops, providing a lot of space for these intense flavors to permeate your senses. A broken A lydian chord through a slightly distorted electric guitar and processed with a bunch of reverb captures this beautiful and delicate balance of dark and bright flavors within the beer.
